Today was a gorgeous day. The sun was shining. It was about 60 degrees. I took the boys to the skatepark then we ate a picnic lunch (well, if you consider Subway to-go a picnic) at a park.

I love bright, clear sunny winter days when you can see all of the snow in the mountains. At the skatepark I could see the Cascades, the Olympic Mountains and Mt. Baker (which I think is technically part of the Cascades). The sky was so blue and the sun so warm. Days like today erase any question about why we tolerate the grey, rainy winters.
